​FREE Design Tools for Kids

  • PrintShop (iPad app).  This is a fun app. Available for FREE for the iPad and Droid tablets.  
  • Thingiverse on the web (apps for iPad,  Droid).: This is a website create by MakerBot.  It's purpose is for sharing of 3D models.  It is fun to explore...literally hundreds of thousands of designs from people all over the world. 
    • You will need to create a free account.​

  • TinkerCAD: If you want to create your own 3D models, this is a great way to start.  It is an easy-to-learn design system that is completely FREE.  Nothing to download and runs in your computer's browser. There are lots of learning aids. Get started here.
